AA, GS, CF clan Stalingrad western op AARs:
Flight School vs AA_Loki vs GS_v_Witzleben
Not a lot of action in this one. Fought for the the main barracks building with just a couple of units 1 Makism and 1 vet infantry squad and a ptr and one 70 tank. He brought 3 squads in to the building along with support from his tanks, after a pretty good firefight he dominated the area. we then traded tanks he lost one panzer we lost one T34 and I took back the exit vl. Good Luck to all, push the germans back!
Battle Stalingrad09
Flight School
AA_Dane vs AA_Jimbo
I didnt loose an inch of ground, but lost some of the experienced infantry keeping them back. One by one he showed me his guns, and I could pick them out. The first first kill went to our small ptrs crew, they shot 3 times and then boom. Next one killed our infantry gun I threw artillery on it, boom! gone. Third was an infantry gun that was shooting up our ptp obr.37 mortars pounded them hard but only managed to get the crew supressed, then came the airtrike right on target boom!. With most of his forces gone, he then rolled in one of his stolen PzKpf T-70 743(r), And managed to kill too many infantry for my liking but then time was up

Flight School AA_Gen_Jack vs AA_Apache
Set up to try to do as much damage and hold off the attack. I got overrun, so dropped the artillery on the attacking Jerry droops and remnants of my first line of defence. This worked for a while but not when Apache moved up his tanks.
Managed to take out 3 tanks/armoured cars, including Apache's vaunted Flakpanzer with a charge born out of if I am going to lose the map I am going to take that damn tank with me - the last man standing from the charge killed the tank
Jerry BG - 24 Reg
Flakpanzer I (dead), Jagpanzer I (dead), T 70 (damaged and abandoned), Marder II, pioneer squad, heavy inf, at least 2 Pak 38s.
Shooting Range AA_Gen_Jack vs AA_Jimbo
Fortunately Jerry took infantry only. It was a very slow battle, with Jim sneaking his way across the map, without me being able to spot him. After 10 min I figured where the sneak was coming from when the Barrack’s Hill VL flipped to Jerry. Spotted his inf about 10 secs later and opened fire. Managed to contain the damage to a small area around that VL, otherwise no other ground given up.
well I guessed where ghoa would go, maybe because i play him quite a bit. I thought he would go for the vl to fallen fighter square and he did, I left nothing in the north and fought in the buildings in the south with all i had, and we held the vl to fallen fighter square, well for one more round anyways. Infantry goes like this germans losses 41 infantry 2 tanks damaged. Russians 38 infantry 2 AT guns kia.

Looking at the map there was really only one area I thought ghoa would attack that would be the north. I put my defense up in the north and waited for ghoa to strike. I had about 7 units up there and it took all of them to stop him he is a very good player, I left about 5 units in the southern building's and one at gun in the east and one up north and never used them so they got some experience. We fought very hard over one vl, the one in the middle of the street, ghoa took it first then i took it back with about 1 minute to go and ghoa then took it back with about 20 seconds to go, I should have waited until about 30 seconds to go then it would have been ours still. lesson learned. oh well we had fun. results are about even with plenty of german kia along with russian kia.

Fallen Fighters Square AA_von_uther vs. Helmut
The Germans attacked exclusively in the South and were able to take some more building space. Our brave comrades were again able to capture the exit in the North West. Both forces suffered approximately 30 casualties. Moves are next.
AA_Dane vs AA_Helmut North Train Station 20th pm:
I managed to stay on the map only by an inch it was mostly infantry battle took some lost some, and i lost an atgun aswell...
Maybe a massive rush guns blazing, with some of those no good riflemen, will make some damage on the enemy. But I dont think we can stay on the map for another round...
I did not even try to hold the supply vl knowing ghoa would bring everything he had to defend it,so i concentrated my forces to hold the north vl and bjorns ship. Ghoa goes for the ship immediately he starts crawling some pzgrens up to the dock I open fire with my makism and kill about 3 of them, he gets up and tries to flank them only to run into my smg squad, and they finish off that little attack. Ghoa next brings a assault squad up and small tank but my guys are hidden so he cant shoot them with his tank, I then move my conscript ptdr into positon to attack the tank and they fire at least 19 rounds at it killing two of the tree soldiers inside, we lost 1 brave man who fought very hard. Ghoa then moves two or three squads to the north only to fall for another ambush in the northwest houses and i kill all german soldiers in a firefight with hand to hand combat. very fun!
by then there's about two minutes left so i drop air on a tank holding the supply vl and arty on a house that has a at gun. The air damaged the tank and the arty destroyed the at gun.
he attacked in the south, i caused heavy inf casualties and flamer worked nicely then ran out of ammo. I stayed in the buildings and counterattacked a few times. Our men performed excellently.
The long awaited armored counterattack. We got an excellent deploy. I was a little too timid and unable to expand much but we have 3 VLs. He had superior inf and tanks ringing the town so I didn't want to lose too many T34s right off the bat. We need to capture the town then push with the tanks.
not whole lot of action manged to kill 2 panzerIVG's and one other tank and killed more infantry than lost.I took nine tanks 5 of them were orange turned them to yellow 3 others were yellow they are now green the other tank was already a veteran. We lost zero tanks on the plus side. gl to whoever goes next.
