When I try to instal the Karelia mod I always get this error. I've reinstalled the maps and the plugin twice. Any ideas?

Basly is not a GJS map, its a Bloody Omaha map. The basly.btd file is located in the Karelia.pln file. Maybe the install script is not functioning?

It must be the scripting.
HistoryTeaches - mats sent you the file in a pln? Perhaps you can update MOOXE with it so he can post it on CCS. Either way, I would love that file so I can check out Karelia

Mac just open the PLN by changing it to a .ZIP file. Extract the btd to the proper location and rename the .ZIP to .PLN. (Plugins are just renamed zip files)

if the basly btd is named as basly btd ur going to have problems.
in the same style when sapa used a map named caen for BoB.
this should be rectified now.by the modder to prevent future problems.

Yes and i am sorry for this! To defend myself i must say i am from the old school (the time before plugin).I think you should all skip Karelia 1.1, with all the bugs and errors and wait for Karelia 2.It is almost a complete new mod.
Sorry again!

The install script is working. It is actually trying to backup the basly map files from the CC5 installation directory to the /original/ directory under the plugin manager. The problem is, as Mooxe pointed out, that the Basly map is part of another mod (edit: GJS v4.3 not Bloody Omaha) not the original game so the script will fail if you haven't installed the GJS maps first.
I'll update the install script this week and post it here...
No point in letting a little problem with the install.txt wreck a good mod.

Sapa, since Karelia 2 is so different, it is almost a different mod, why not let me fix the install.txt and if you have any other fixes why not make a last Karelia v1.2? Maybe name them slightly different so people will grab them as two different mods?

ok, now i am doing the change pln to zip thing. thanks for the tipoff.
Listen, can you give me advice as to what to do with the Normandy maps already in my maps folder? The Karelia mod has some maps for it that go by the same name but are different sizes. Should I download these maps, eg. Engels and Isigny from the website and place them on top of the maps by the same name that come with the game that are already located in the maps file of my CC5 directory?

Here is an updated install.txt removing the basly.btd backup line which copied the file from the CC5 maps directory the /original/ directory under the plugin manager. The basly.btd comes with the GJS v4.3 mod not with the individual map or as part of the Karelia full map pack.
Since the file is not being backed up now the uninstal.txt had to be updated to remove the line restoring the file. Each time you install GJS v4.3 using the plugin manager the Basly.btd gets installed as part of that mod thus the file does not need to be backed up/restored.
The old install.txt worked fine if GJS v4.3 was installed at some point before the Karelia mod was installed.
