played the grand campaign No3, as germans firstly on line/line...oh my god what an ass whooping!
i had 2 stingy second hand russian 76mm, a few 1939 vintake pak37mm, usual first day ost inf, mg34's, inf, commanders...in seconds i had 10 shermans and funny tanks rolling over the hedgerow, needless to say even in bunkers the 95mm(re same blast effect as 152mm HE in RR0822 cc3) had me in tatters, then the fireflys choped the guns up, then crocks moved in, it was not pretty!
game 2, germans recruite, allies elite.
more tactical game, but his infantry where wearing kevlar, and i was shooting thousands of .22 shorts(rat shot) killed 1/2 dozen of 10 teams crawling at me at 90M(amazing shooting at 900 rpm of 7.92mm cant slow them down)
is this a 'vet mod' for use against AI? what are the tricks to survive?

it is not a vet mod. this mod was designed totally with a grand campaign in mind. it is very tough for the germans to try and hold back the allied onslaught in the beginning of a campaign, the german BGs are weak and the allied strong. you need to hold the allies up as best you can and get your better BGs up to the front as quick as possible.
they are no tricks for infantry surviving. the infantry armor settings are default cc5reg.

Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
