Just a little question,

I'm reading James Lucas' Storming Eagles, a book about the german paratrooper and he tells that the german had held their position with the 1st Para Diision backed by a few battalions of Jaeger regiments on the Adriatic side of Italy.
Was it the battle of Ortona?

Cheers,
Rob

fallschimjeagers used a automatic rifle called the FG42, it could be either semi or full auto and could have a scope on it.
here is a website where you can find out more about the fallschimjeagers.

well no, Orsogna was engaged by 78th British.

But FJ defended Ortona against 1st Can.

8th Inf was in same area also. But mostly engaged vs 90.PzGD.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
