What happens is: When I've installed a mod (any mod) via configV13 and I want to open the game I get an error saying "can't find the directory: videos". It plays the game just fine without a mod installed.... Anyone ever had that error and/or knows what to do?

Guess it's just me being a noob again, found it allready in the tech support topic of CC%.....

Please remove this topic... :zzz

no it's not that. when i download the patch it causes that problem but you can't play a mod w/o the patch. i think that while you were downloading the full version it might accidentally moved the video folder from the CD. i haven't found the solution yet.

What version dose cc say in the bottom right corner when u first load
CC5 ? Have you tried making a folder named videos in your root cc5 folder?
like this C:\Program Files\SSI\Close Combat Invasion Normandy\Videos
then copy the videos from the cd to that folder? there should be 3

Also It could be that you have your video enabled in options. To fix this
when you launch cc5 hold the CTRL key. That should take you
too the options menu then just uncheck play videos. Or just go to options
and uncheck videos the other way works if you get that video error when
you load cc5.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
