ive never seen so many cards givin in a world-cup!
anyone have an explanation?will there be an inquiry from FIFA as to misconduct?in the Italy-US game,i think that that penalty kick call killed the US spirit and if you look at the replay there
was simply no foul!just my humble opinion that the refs have put a damper on an otherwise excellent WC!

Coaches lose them.
Refs ruin them.

I watched on in horror as that a-hole screwed the US in their match vs Italy.
Officiating in this world cup is attrocious.

What about the Australia-Croatia match? The English ref issued THREE yellow cards to the one Croatian player before he finally sent him off. Before that though he totally overlooked a blatant rugby-style tackle by a Croatian player on Aussie Captain Mark Viduka. All three of Australia's games were marred by poor decisions by the match officials. The World Cup might have some of the best players and coaches around, but it has the worst reffs there.

Now Australia is through to play Italy, it's going to be crazy! There's 9 Italians on the "Aussie" team and it seems there's more Italians in Melbourne than Rome sometimes! In 1994 (?) they made the finals and it was nuts, this will be crazy

Referees?......a fine body of men, just look how well they do..........

Its not easy to run all over that pitch for 90+ minutes, without bumping into the other 22 men on there, and do you ever see one with his white stick out?.......no never .

On top of that is the abuse that they endure from the players, casting doubt on their parentage in every language under the sun..........little wonder the refs guide dog took a chunk out of Micheal Owens leg following the Trinidad game!......it's only showing its loyalty to it's master afterall .

I was only speaking to the mother of one of them recently and she said what a caring and loving man he was
