Hey man I think you just need to install the Stalingrad mod and run CCReq, It worked for me (on GJS, but I don't see why it shouldn't work with this one).

To have a Req working for any mod you have 2 solution:

1° Use only 1 Req for all mod:

To run req in this case u have to do some modif:
First thing to know is you must have the mod runing before launching the req. Once the mod is runing and the req is launching go in "Files/Import game data > CC5 data" and enable all 9 category. Then press import and wait the time for the programs to imports them. Once that's done, u may have to close the Req and to launch it again. Now the Req is ready and qualibred with the right Mod. U will have to redone this if you change mod and want to use The Req for this other mod. For me that's ,not really the better way to use the req. i prefer using the second way.. check this out...
2° the better way to use the Req:
Create a new folder and name it with your mod name: IE:
GJS Req
Unzip the Req intot this new folder.
Now install your mod in your CCV. once that's done, launch your Req and import the data. your Req is ready and qualibred exclusivly for this mod.
Now you want to get another Req for another Mod, very simple just create a new folder and name it with your Mod name: IE: Stalingrad Req and unzipp your Req into thi folder, import data ...etc...
By this way you will have numerous Req for sure, but each Req will be qualibred exclusivly for One and only One mod.
Have fun

Gents,

thank you for your hints.

I have tried them, both for Stalingrad and RSR.

Unfortunately, it did not work, with both.

What happened:

I get the correct maps for the mods in CCReq. However, I always get 901 Lehr, Vickers MG, Sherman etc, so the force pool does not change, although I imported all 9 categories without error message.

Why is that? In my humble mind, the following happens: CCReq uses, in CC5AdbData, *.txt files.

CCReq gets those from …/Data/Base.

All the files that are *.adb in …/Data/Base (for example FPools, BGroups) are not translated from *.adb into *.txt!

The *.txt from /Data/Base, however, are transported correctly to CC5AdbData, as I can see from the creation date and time of the files.

Simply changing the extension from adb to txt does not help.

Who can help?

HOW DO I GET FORCEPOOL ETC CORRECTLY IN CCREQ?

Thanks a lot for your help

When u change mod at your CCV, u Must re-import again the data to your CCReq. Or you will get the latest mod data into your CCreq. As i told you after installed your Mod, if u using 1 and only 1 CCReq for all your mod u MUST import again the data. To avoid that, use multiple CCReq, one Req for one mod

I did exactly as you said.

Unfortunately, I NEVER got the latest mod data, but ALWAYS PzLehr 901 etc - even after importing several times.

Do u think u could try with Stalingrad yourself? Would be of great help to know if mistakes repeats itself or is my fault

Thx

load your Mod on your CCV
launch your CCV and check if the mod is runing
close CCV and launch your Req
click on Req option" files/import game data / import CC5" .
enable each box and click on imports...
when it's done, close CCReq and launch it again...
now any Bg than u will see will be the Mod one...
all mod isnt complete, some still use older picture, older name, older graphix...

Hi Zappi4,

thanks for time, effort and detailed list.

I printed it and followed it step by step - 100% no error.

However, BGs are NOT mod BGs

Do u think you can chck with Stalingrad-Mod yourself?

Hi Zappi4,

discussed the issue with a friend yesterday.

He experiences 100% the same problem (phhh)

Question came up: do u run MS Java? Or any thing else in addition to CCReq?

Thx

ok first trick is to make sure stalingrad mod is plugged in
unzip and a brand new cc req
update it with the unpack exe files (if necessary)
when u first go to open
it will ask u to import data
u need to check these boxes
first go and check maps
that there stalingrad
usually no probs there
then check to make sure teams r stalingrad teams
this is usually the one that never works first go
if u dont have sucess
delete the cc req
and try again
when u do have success rename the cc req to Stalingrad cc Req
and only use this cc req for stalingrad
u can repeat the steps again for other mods.
if a mod has a update
u will need to reopen a new cc req for it

Regards to Sidney, Colonel!

Maybe, your expeditionary corps to Europe can provide me with some help:

ok first trick is to make sure stalingrad mod is plugged in
• roger that

unzip and a brand new cc req
• My source for CCReq: http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=search&query=
• And yes, I use the XP version
• Unzipped a completely new one

update it with the unpack exe files (if necessary)
• Colonel, u write “Files”.
• I have ONE (1), and that is in C:\...\Desktop\ccreq 0709\CCReq\Exe
• Do I need more???? BTW, in this folder, there also is cc2tga.exe

when u first go to open
it will ask u to import data
u need to check these boxes
• In the attachment you see what it does. Sorry, no option to check a box

first go and check maps
that there stalingrad
usually no probs there
• Yep, never had a problem here

then check to make sure teams r stalingrad teams
this is usually the one that never works first go
• Good to hear!

if u dont have sucess
delete the cc req
and try again
• Is this the trick? Unpack CCReq until it works? How often, from your experience? How can there be a difference, when I unpack the same exe several times?

LTC salutes COL

Hi Zappi4,

that was ensured - no different result.

Hi COL,

your link leads to an empty page - although the download counter goes up one

Looking forward to your support
