Up until i found this site i thought the cc community was all but extinct. What a treat it has been to find this site and see so many others still involved in this epic game. CC is old and has been passed up but I believe it is the best strategy game out there even today! I am looking forward to finding some online gamers in cc2 and cc5 and I am stoked about hearing of a possible cc6! If anyone is looking for a player for campaigns or battles give me a shout. I live in America but work nights so I can accomodate most.
Again, thanks to whoever runs this site and all you gamers for keeping this game alive! look forward to seeing you all on the field of battle and GL!

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
