Hi all,
The monthly news from The Kessel has come a little earlier this month as I will take some holidays until mid August. Without my old -but powerful- PC, I will just be able to make some ajustments of the games files on my laptop if there are some rainy days, but will not be able to do anything regarding the maps and graphics.
Anyway, it will be a good opportunity to refresh my brain a little just before attacking the final touch of the mod...
July has been a good month for the mod, as 3 new maps have been finished: Verkh-Tschirskaïa (thanks to Cavallot who made a very good job in coding the map), Tschaussovski and Tinguta; all three maps being part of the southern part of the strategic map. THere are now 43 maps available (for 44!), the only one missing being Abganerovo which I will paint and code hopefully in August.
In addition to these maps, I have repainted this month the maps Krasnaïa Plochad (Red Place of Stalingrad) and Kalatch. These two ones were quite old and did not feel fully good to me. There are now what I wanted them to be. two details of the Plochad map have been added to the combat camera.
The sounds and voices have been improved as well this month. This is a long and tough work, but the result seems ok: you should like it.
I have been as well working on doing a H2H mod and a RusVet mod. They are more or less completed, but have not been tested so far. This will be done in due time.
Very, very good job, the maps are beautiful. i'm impatient to play your mod !
Many thanks to you all. I am Particularly happy to see that the Kessel maps are not nasty (don't know what "" means, and not sure to even don't want to know it...) for everybody.
All your messages are really welcomed. Just don't have the time to answer to them individually. Accept my apologies

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
