There was a topic which Poli said that he was surprised when a schreck team of his took down a tank from 140m. Today on a H2H game the panzerschreck team u see has knocked out a sherman with first shot from 170m. On the combat messages it says"sherman III immobilized" before the message of being knocked out. This is for the sherman towards north. And the most interesting thing is that after aprx.20 sec later knocking out the sherman, this team also knocked out the stuart with one shot from the same position!!

i know the shreck range is 180M, but ive heard reports that on defend, in high buildings they have shot up to 200M.
considering they could shoot to 1000M, the manual said moving targets to be engaged at not less then approx 180m(from memory, ther was start on moving, stationary approx 300m and soft targets like guns, trucks to 1000m, there was winter and summer ammunition also) original non shielded and later shielded versions.

when u fire from ground level,ur parelel to ground (zook is)
and u aim at a mark 180metres away
and u do the same thing from a 2 story building
the missile fired from the ground will most likely travel further as it hasnt been aimed in a downwards direction.
plus if ur range is 180metres it wont fire at 181metres.
only possibility is a miss, and never seen a shrek miss by 20 metres yet.
coz that is what it would of had to do,or it was fired from a closer distance.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
