CCIII only has a really good vietnam mod.
has australians to...great sounds, love the 40mm m79 (wombat guns)
the gooks have some awsome kalish(?) rockets and at one point really late was a T55 with flamethrower and 120mm. nasty...
allied side has 105mm centurians, 90mm bulldogs,m26 pershings(thinks was renamed m48 by then?)
anyhow, its out there still, there is also a sub mod for boats(deep water) basically a tank that only moves in deep water, has a wompom amount of firepower...

cc5 has red storm rishing(RSR) set in late 80's, M1's. leopards, T62/72/80, full of high explosives barrages, super fast reload times, german, amreican, russian BG's.i enjoyed it at the time, tack rating 6/10
then there is a 3d shooter called CC first to fight(have got but hardly played)tack rating 4/10 (8/10 for video, graphics, sounds)
of if u ask for cd, or email the marine corp magazine, there is CCM3.1, single battles only CC, set in current day, Big ass maps, f18/harrier/cobra support, M1s,bradleys, ambhabious, t60/70/80's(even a old T55 me thinks) and toyotas with 12.7mm dahks, regular and malitia/rebel soldiers, again not to crash hot cause NO campaigns. (9/10 game play, graphics, sounds but down to 3.1/10 for overall cause u cant play OPFOR(only h2h opponent) and NO campaigns)
CCIII had a modern day one also, or was planned korea mod.
cc1/2/3/4/5 are all eith single player v computer or 2 people.
ccm3.1 can go to 6 players, but its hard to get now,and there is no grand campaign. its set in 2005.
i saw a post this week that cso modders are mostly complete on a CCM3.1 WWII mod, i prey it has a grand campaign, and u can play as opfor(enemy/germans) and US/allies.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
