Hi all;

The mod is, as you know, finished. It works very well and should be released somewhere in november when/if a website will be OK to upload it.
There is no video attached to the mod, just because I do not know how to create it (it seems really out of my skills!) and also because I did not find any movie from which I could have taken some parts to make the video.
If someone is interested, don't hesitate to contact me.

hi pzjäger,

i have 12-14 hours of German newsreel material, out of which 3-4 hours dealing with winter topics. About stalingrad there no much, because of the News ban posed by Goebbels after mid-november 1942, yet some stuff is useful for a intro movie...

I ll check out MS moviemaker (its not that difficult) and a few intro videos.

p.s. dont have much material of russians though, but the movie Männer gegen Panzer (1943) whic shows t34 attacking german inf, problem is it features summer terrain.

PolemarchosI and Pzjager I have Adobe Premier Edition and Adobe Audition, I dont think I have a lot of winter stuff, have to double check my CD's, thou I know I do have some russian stuff.

I'm pretty sure I can get more.

The hardest thing I forsee is getting somebody with a good voice and the equipment for the narrators voice.

Any ways maybe Mooxe could set up a private forum and ftp for us to work this out.

i worked around the narrator using speeches by Hitler and Göring
and two wartime songs which are copyright free.

outsiders may think in the first gaze its neo nazi shit but i choosed wisely speeches menionig stalingrad to express the pressure of expectation lying on th german soldiiers.
