Hi!

Back on track!! Got another computer. Working on a patch for CCV Karelia 2. Two new maps by Southern_Land

Added two lend - lease vehicles for russians (M2 Halftruck, M3A1 Command halftruck)

Updated 16 BTD;s (because there where complains about the lack of Victory locations.

Is there any interest from the community in this?

Thanks! I have plans of adding the German 122 infantry division (Greif) and the 303 Sturmgeschutz brigade to but i dont know if i have enough space in the team files.

Yes they were at Karelian Isthmus together with the Stuka air unit (Kumhley)

Keep it up. Looking forward to the patch. Will you be leaving the strategic limitations as is or have reconsidered some movement flexibility at the strategic level?

Well, i have had that in mind but if i change it my whole idea and purpose with mod will be gone...

As i sad before, we wanted to make something different and i understand if some of you doesent like it. Maybe i could try to give the player more options in the middle of the stratmap but i want to keep the one way roads in the beginning of the Campaign to force the stupid AI to move forward.

I will have to think about it but dont expect to much!

Cheers Mats Smile

hi sapa,
Quote:
Added two lend - lease vehicles for russians (M2 Halftruck, M3A1 Command halftruck)

just some comments:

No M2 or M3A1 HTs were supplied to USSR. Tho all the HTs were indeed called 'Bronetransporter M2'(Armored Carrier M2) in RA.

By Lend-Lease USSR got M5,M5A1(that were pretty same as M3 and M3A1) and M9A1 (that was pretty same as M2A1). About 90% of them were used to tow guns.

In addition to it USSR got crapload of 'White M3A1 Scout Cars'. Those were used in Motorcycle Recoinassance Bats of Tk Corps and Tk Armies and as command cars.
But M3A1 cars were not HTs, they were 4x4 armored cars.

Hope that can be usefull Wink.

nice site. Smile

My sources r :
'Half-Track: A History of American Semi-Tracked Vehicles' by R.P.Hunnicutt and 'Tanks of Lend-Lease' by M.Kolomiets and I.Moschanskiy.

They even have exact numbers supplied and units that used them Wink.

cheers.

Thanks! Maybe i will have to change it then...do you think there were any in the Vyborg Operation? Someone told me ages ago that the Red Army kept the lend-lease vehicles together in separate units, is this true? In that case i could use them in the same BG as the Churchills or was they used by any Red Army unit?

Found another link, maybe you have seen it?

Mats

I like the numbers placed on tanks.
Tanks look 2D. Any chance of applying dark areas to make them look more 3D?
