Hi !

Somethimes ive got the problem when i try to save the game (i.e. when im playing the grand campaign with anyone). Then sometimes it happens, that the losses dont get counted.
Some battlegroups are put back to the status they had before the fighting.

Can anyone help my why this happens sometimes (and sometimes not) and has someone an idea how to avoid this effect ?

I've seen this problem in cc5 and the mods gjs and sas.

greetings

RM

ok, best idea to avoid all trouble:

make new save after EVERY battle. ie, GC01 after first battle, go back to command and start from the FRESH save. do this after EVERY battle (GC01, GC02, GC03, GC04 etc etc)

this will help

ok, ill try it this way.

but isnt there a more simple way to do this ?

its kinda annoying to load and save 1000 times just to play the grand campaign.....

Its the only way... CC is kinda buggy but most bugs we found we can work through. After a game save it, then press command, reload the saved battle and continue... I never press next in a GC or OP.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
