Hey all.
a quick check across all the major mods.
has revealed every1 been making same mistake as I
in coding the german heavy flak 88 as heavy flak gun in SAI (1Cool
this has been to blame for some complaints against the 88s effectiveness
in some mods.
as this causes the 88 to wait with a He shell in the barrel.
by simply changing it to (21) in SAI which is heavy AT gun.
will give u a much more useful 88 on the battlefield
waiting with a much more useful AP round.
instead of annoying enemy tanks with a ``hey how u going He shell,im over here``

this can affect the american 90mm AA too
also in some eastern mods with the flak88 mounted on trucks
sai is also coded as flak gun.

Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands

Nice! Great observation L4W!
I always thought there was something wrong about the 88s in CC5 mods...now we know.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
