since nobody answered yet... again: is there a possibility to solve that disrepancy by modding the data...?

something that bothers me is that it is impossible to see if a tank is immo or damaged in the BGscreen or the strategic map (after entering soldiers details).

sometimes i have tanks that are still immo from the last battle although i am in full supply... The only real possibility to avoid that is by putting it back into forcepool and then back into the Bg again. But its is difficult to remember which tank was the immo one....and the crew also loses its stats when put back into forcepool.

any possibilities in modding that?

thanks

I've never had this problem. If you have fuel and ammo - If a tank get's immob'd you could loose it or keep it. If you keep it, it should be fixed and no longer immob'd. I've never seen otherwise.

It happens Mac. Theres only 2 solutions. Switch out all your tanks, or write down the name of the crew or crewmember.

A third possible solution, but it also requires keeping paper notes. When you first go into the BG screen, rename each of your vehicles and if nothing else give them a number. During game play note down the name of the map and the name and number of the vehicle that might be a problem in the next battle. For example:

Airfield: Stuart 1 immob, Sherman 3 main gun inop.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
