PostPosted: Sun Jan 28, 2007 12:09 pm Post subject: Which mod for CC5 ? Reply with quote

Hi all !

I would like to play a H2H campain with a friend. We are looking for a nice mod to do so. We don't want to play GJS, we have already play it.

What we are looking for, in priority order :

- No or very few bugs (very high priority)
- Fun for both players.
- Nearly equal chances for both to win.
- Nice maps and graphics.
- Lot of hardware (tanks, guns...) or BG (FT, AT weapons...)
- Nice air and gun support.
- Best is that during the campaign roles swithes and the attaquer became defender and the defender became attaquer. Don't know it there is a campain with this. (very low priority)

Here is the mod I have already played :
- CC5 campain (solo only)
- GJS (H2H)
- BoB (solo only)
- Meuse (solo only)
- Der Kessel (only the begining, solo and H2H)

Any advice ?

Sorry for my poor english.

you could try the adaptation for CC5 of CC4 Veteran Battle of the Bulge (Vet BoB). I think it's called Ardennes offensive it was created originally by TT and transfered to CC5 by Nomada_Firefox.

I haven't played the cc5 version only the CC4 one, so i don't know if it has bugs or whatever, but the CC4 version was a lot of fun. At first the germans are on the offensive against very weak americans BG and by the second week the americans goes stronger while the germans goes weaker.

Which mod ?

Normally every plugin works the same.
Make sure you do not load another mod before you have uninstalled a previous mod. iaw do not switch form one mod to another BUT uninstall mod, check if you have regular cc5 with patch 5.01, install new mod.

This might be usefull Wink
