Anyone ever thought about making a 'Battle of Mogadishu/Black Hawk Down' mod for CC5?

I said CC5 because we must have Black Hawks/Little Birds doing strafing runs for the US team.

You'll just need desert tiles and some shanties, low set stone buildings, brown huts, and lots of trash strewn about. Also a picture of a wrecked Black Hawk, several varieties of pickup trucks (technicals) and Humvees instead of tanks. RPG-7 and LAWs rocket launchers instead of bazookas and panzerfausts. If you must have tanks, the Pakistanis and Malaysians did have tanks and APCs.

I think the current limitations in Close Combat 5 is 15 teams per side (10 people per team), so it'll be 40-80 rangers facing 150 Somalis per map. Notice it's per map, the battle will split over several maps of course.

Not sure how much work would it entails though.

There are helicopters as well as planes in RtB. And there is a mission ''catch Saddam Husein" which could give you some ideas.

All units are in fact there, take the Fedayeens and rename them to Somalis, and the US units will then be Delta. There are AT rocket launchers. AD weapons will be useless due to game limitations, no shooting down planes in CC series.
