hi there
When you see the topic of this post you guys probably already think again someone who tries to find out what the status is of stalingrad mod and yes I want to find out.
So what is the hold up, is it just that people don't want to do it or are they stuck with a problem or............. ????Such a beautyfull mod seen on screen shots and all work for nothing? I gues if you lay down the problems on the table and other mod maker can maybe help you guys out. There is a solution when you want to and everybody will be very thankfull i think when you guys bring out the mod. You guys just doing great jobs for others to have fun but why is stalingrad on ice????

I first viewed the french stalingrad site about a year or so ago, Now i cant read french much-but what i saw really excited me. What a HUGE project!!! and imo a brilliant mod for CC cus stalingrad truely was "close combat" -- (too bad its not possible to simulated the 'layer cake' effect with Germans on 1st floor russians on second etc)
Of all the mods under development this one is up in the top (and of course the new GJS)
Now im no modder- not much good with computer either (STILL CANT HOST A CC5 BATTLE!!!) but id be willing to help in any way i can.
(I'd even be willing to ive cash donations to advance this project.)

Stalingrad has been eagerly anticipated for a very long time. So has Harpoon 4 and Close Assault and Combat Leader and Wartime Commander. All great ideas that turned into vaporware. Wouldn't surprise me if it is the same with Stalingrad.

wartime commander i heard should be ready soon.....it seems that its same like "soldiers" just with bigger maps and some new features...

in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
