Slow, Medium, or Fast?
I usually play Fast, since it is more realistic in my view, but which is the "right" one to play? What speed most people play? |

I dont think it comes down to realism. Playing slow is just really...slow..and painful. Especially online because usually lag slows the game down a bit anyways. If you need more time to issue to orders, and cant grasp the situation at hand, slow it down. |

Doesn't the clock walk more slowly when playing on slower speeds? judging from that point of view, fast seems the most realistic setting imho. |

In my years of playing I remember meeting 1 guy who played on another speed setting than fast, I guess that answers your question. |

Yeah, I feel the same way. Playing on a setting other than fast is like removing trees or KIA soldiers. It's just...wrong. (unless your computer is ancient and can't handle it.) |

I never play with trees on. They just impede my view. |

I think that slow=o,5s/s medium 1s/s and fast 2s/s.
I play allways with the fast setting.
I also play with trees off, because they block my vision. |

FAST
And I remove trees some of the time and even the KIA's when I'm playing Mac and have to find a live troop amongst all the carnage. |

My guesstimate is that on fast setting the clock is running at real time speed. Medium and slow appear to be slower than real.
In my early days I always played on slow because you can micromanage your troops better and dont have to hoover your mouse frantically.
Then I joined h2h play and nobody plays other than fast and boy was that a change. I should mention that I always play fast nowand the gaming experience is by far better. |

This is the problem. Trees look good, but get in the way. |

think it has more to do with ur eyesight.
if ur eyes r sharp trees dont present a problem.
if u need spectacles or ur eyesight isnt what it use to be maybe need the assistance of playing without. |
Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands |

PS; Australia is the only country that shoots and kills and even eats the two animals on its coat of arms.. the kangaroo and emu.. i find that kind of comforting in a way...do you know why they are on our coat of arms ? because neither animal can take a backward step ( neither do their hunters i mite add ) |
