I don't know if this realy should be here in CC forum at all, but i need to ask.

Im about to paint my 1/72 scale WW2 British Paratroopers from Revell and Italeri.

But i don't know wich colours to use.
There is some paitning advice on the box, but they are from the wrong company.
Hawe searched for advice elswhere but can't find any.

I can only purchase Humberol colours ( only ones available in my town, to expansive else where )

So if there is any 1/72 scale figure painter out there, please help!

In case some one hear this call of dispair, please tell me the name and the nummer of the Humberol paint cans, and where on the soldier to aply the paint!

Hi karlmortar,

I cannot answer your question, however you may want to try the following site http://www.missing-lynx.com/. Your best bet is probably to go to the Discussion Groups page.

I also understand the Osprey recently released a new book on the subject of British and Canadian Paratroops.

Cheers

You are welcome,

I thanked my boss as well, as he is the person who told me about the site. You could also try http://ipmsstockholm.org/helpdesk.asp#color_charts, which has a colour matching chart between paint companies http://ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/colorcharts_2.asp or by nationality of the subjecthttp://ipmsstockholm.org/colorcharts/colorcharts.asp.

Let me know if you cannot find what you need, as my boss has a book with colour matching charts that may include the paint colour you need. We would need to know what paints the box refers to.

Cheers

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
