it killed six us tanks in a score of 7 in the total battle , clearing the way to disband the us side in this map

Unit: No.6 Commando
Commando squad started on ambush in the SW corner building of Caen, and took down a hertzer with a rifle grenade. The squad then advanced and with the assistance of a sherman attacked 3 german squads across the road that were firing from buildings there (to the east).
After inflicting some losses on the Germans, the squad (with support from the sherman) charged across the street and killed the remaining enemy. More German squads began moving towards the commandos, but they held their ground and beat of teams of pioneers which attempted to roast them.
The final result: 22 inf KIA, 1 tank, 2 Distinguished Service Orders
