I was wondering if anyone had any good online sources on the war in Finland, or if they can just give a brief summary because I'm pretty confused on the subject if someone can enlighten me here.

Hello,

Moderator info, moved this thread to: ”The World at War”

Fast compact info, it all started with Molotov-Ribbentrop pact and its secret protocol :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_War

Mannerheim line (bunkers etc) and the Winter War and diary’s, etc:
http://www.mannerheim-line.com/

Winter War 39-40
http://www.winterwar.com/

Telegrams for each day of Winter War:
http://www.mil.fi/perustietoa/talvisota_eng/index.html

From that page u have a link page that cover most:
http://www.mannerheim-line.com/links.htm

Weapons of Finland’s war:
http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/MAIN.html

Tanks etc:
http://www.andreaslarka.net/

Swedish volunteers in Finland’s war:
http://www.svenskafrivilliga.com/

Finlands War, (In English down left side, hard to fined maybe)
http://www.joensuu.fi/mekri/sotahistoria/

Hope that helps

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
