Close Combat I & II were designed for the Mac; the later games were not.
To advise you on where to obtain CDs we would need to know whereabouts in the world you are.
The later games *may* be playable on a Mac using virtualisation software. Since I have no experience of either, I am not your best advisor, but there are threads on this site describing people's experiences with VMWare. If it can be installed on a Mac then it may be an option.
As far as I am aware nobody has written a step-by-step guide to the use of VMWare for Close Combat.
CloseCombat - FirstToFight is available for MacOS-X, both PPC and Intel (UB) build. Sad to see that their main site is down, but you can get still the updates from:
Concerning 10.5-compatibility: FTF = yes; CC1 & CC2 = no. CC1 and CC2 require Classic-enviromnent (or native MacOS 9), which is only available for 10.4.11 or older. Tried to bring CC1/2 alive running on SheepShaver-environment under 10.5, but this failed. It is sad to see that on modern Macs the best wargame ever (CC2) will not run under MacOS-X.
well after awhile of using leopard, I've found that it is pretty good at running Windows XP, all you need is a mac with intel processors and a windows XP CD.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
