I have installed Close Combat V, with Patch 5.01 and mod Battle of Berlin. We tried to play this game on-line with my friend. We solved the clicking and move whole parts of game (strategic mapa, etc.).After choise of units on Battle group screen I pushed next button and this message poped up on the screen: Unable to load string for ISC, CC String Error. Please help me if you know somehow. We tried to push the next button in the change sequence but it was same. Sad

AFAIK Battle of Berlin was never tested for H2H.
I believe it's using an unpatched version of the resources.dll that's not H2H compatible.
Maybe Sapa can confirm this?

Try this, both of you backup your Berlin "CCResourceDLL.dll" and then take the regular-CC5 "CCResourceDLL.dll" to replace the Berline one.. Does it work now?

What Stalky said should work normally. Tested that a long time ago and it worked.

It should work...but the custom "CCResourceDLL.dll" modifications (a lot of texts) for Battle of Berlin would be lost. The texts would revert to Americans vs Germans in Utah, Normandy...and the Russian/Berlin references/texts would be lost.

Posted an updated CC Resource file on march 31, 2007 under the Berlin forum thread and nobody answered if it was solving the problem Mad

My work with CC is now over and i recommend you to do as above, use the Stalingrad dll if it is allright with Dima and team of course, or the orginal CC5 5.01 Resource DLL file.

Getting real tired over this question when i stated from the beginning that the mod was made for singleplayer over and over and over again... :mad1 :death3

Hi guys. I am really happy. The on-line gaming with BoB is working. I just used sent file by AT_Stalky and the problem was solved. Thank you once again.
