Hi troops!

I decided to reinstall the game after a few years of absence. But the game crashes just moments after I have pushed the start button on the battle map, and the following text appears:

”Close Combat Error

Informs DrirectDraw that the previous Blt which is transfering information to or from this Surface is incomplete”

There seems to be nothing wrong with the CD-disk as I am able to play the game on my laptop. The game is unmodified. I have updated the graphic card and I have also tried to adapt the game to Win 95/98/2000, but with no success... I simply don´t know what to do anymore Sad

I would really love to play the game again and appreciate all the help I can get!

Best regards,

.... or you could use the wonderful little CC Starter program that allows you to disable DirectDraw before starting CC and then enables it on exiting.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
