I'm playing Kharkov against AI as Germans, and am on day 6 of the campaign. Now, when I get to the end of the Mechebiloka battle, it just fails with a Vista "this program has gone wrong" type message, and does not save- so you cannot continue the campaign. I've had this before on other CCV mods (Ardennes for definite). Any ideas? I'd actually like to finish the campaign.

It was the standard Vista message that reads "This program has stopped working" and the option to look on the internet for a solution (which never yields any results as far as I can see.
Bizarrely, I just tried it, and it's now working again, having failed 4 times in a row before. Thanks for having a look at this for me, if it happens again I'll take proper note of the message.
to avoid vista errors in CC there are two 100% successful methods
1) have a Windows XP OS also installed on other partition
2) emulating Windows XP by using a virtual pc application
Thanks for that- I'll give it a go, although the problem seems to have cleared up. I seem to remeber that there can be a problem if there are too many damaged vehicles on the map- I've had it on two different campaigns before.
Anyway, thanks again.
