Hi,
Bit of a general enquiry. I'm trying to play h2h with a mate but can't seem to get it to work over either Hamachi or Gamespy. We've tried everything I can think off and have read so many forums and FAQs that I'm going crazy!! I could do with some help.
Also I'm wondeing where people are playing these days. I've got copies of CC5 with 5.01a patch and CC4 with 4.02 installed. Just can't seem to ever find anyone to play. Any ideas???

I'm running xp and I have norton 08. I thought I have allowed cc5 and cc4 through firewall. I'm using a wireless network and I set up port forwarding on my router. I've not turned windows firewall on.

Norton may be the problem.

Then dont allow your CCv trought norton, but simply disable norton while you trying to play.
Hamachi will let you play whatever your firewall or router problm are. But it will not allow you
trought a antivirus defender

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
