Hi,
I have made some changes in Batlle of Berlin. I've changed the icons of weapons for more realistic one.
These are some pics:
What is your opinion about these changes? Could it be uploaded to the web?
Greetings.
Pd: My idea is change all the weapons icons of the mods I have. |

I bet this statement offended pzjäger.
@pzjäger:
A statement alone is no reason for you to insult ifni. His notion that "change .... all mods I have" does not imply that he plans to do so with SDK or SOC.
And about CCS. Sapa has states several times in the Berlin forum that he has no problem whatsoever that people pick up his mod and expand or rework it. And overall Ifni has just posted screenshots so there is definately no reason to accuse or blame him... |

Thanks Polemarchos. I like real accuracy so I think it would be a good idea to change the icons. (I hate Kar 98 icon in original game).
And thanks again for the aclaration. I didn't understand why Pzgager insulted me.
Greetings.

Looks great!
I guess you'd have to make a plugin of the gadget files and upload it as a BoB submod.
I agree with Ifni...the Kar98 in the original game (and most early mods) looks nothing like the real rifle.
I'm guessing these new weapons are based on Rogue5's weapons pack?
BTW, why not include also the new soldier status head graphics based on Cpl_Punishment's work? |

Hi Ifni,
When I wanted to open your pics yesterday, I got miilions of ads and spams on my PC. But when I reconnected this morning to read again your post, I did not have them.
So, it was an error. PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES.
In addition, your weapon icons are superb, great job!
Once again, it was a mistake. I am really sorry

When are you going to release the completed product, Ifni?
Besides Berlin...are you going to make "realistic weapons artwork submods" for other 'old' mods too?
Can't wait to see them...and I'm too lazy to mod them myself
Keep up the good work! |

Great news, Ifni...and can't wait to play the mods with your Realistic Weapons Artwork submod!
When are you going to upload the Battle of Berlin sub-mod? Maybe just upload the new gadget files and the CCS admins can make the plugin? |

Great!
I planned to make a uniform update on that, too. But I get no freetime for it. My idea was to make the republicans appear in a more ragtag style of civilian and former army outfit. Especially a lue or brown workers overall was very common among the worker´s party military arms. With using a different uniform code for SMG-sprites the colours can also differ inside one unit.
If you need info/pics on some of the more uncommon or WWI weapons in the mod, let me know.
Keep up the good work!

That's because both Ifni's and PJ's work are based on Rogue5's WW2 weapons pack (great stuff)! |
