Do I understand correctly that one strat map is the original CCIV strat map............right?
If so on the 2nd strat map can it be edited to the max 64 maps like the new one?
Also
Is it possible to cary over a GC from one to the other?
By that I mean will it be able to correctly follow your troops accomplishments/records/moral?
What is the Max # of connections per each strat map?
How are maps imported?
Is there still a need for the index.mpi?
Or can I just drop them in alla CCIII style?
Can more than one of each support be added to a map or is the limit still set at 1?

Remember that strat arrows and .btd links are not the same thing.
If you overstep your strat arrow allocation, does the strat map still work? |

The constraint is more with the Stratedit tool: as you say, you don't need the arrow visible to have a logical connection between maps. But in Stratedit, you can only assign 84 connection IIRC. If you want more, it's back to hex-editing the BTD files... |

I belive. Arrow limits but not conections. Just set them conections in btd-edit tool, no hex needed. |

So in other words, if you can live without strat arrows they will not limit you? (So really, they are just cosmetic.)
Is there a limit to the number of maps which can be connected by .btd?
Eight? |

That's right, forgot about the power of BTDEdit.

Having no arrows on the stratmap makes it kinda hard to review BG movement during the Strategic Movement phase. |

Thanks for the link.
Looking at some of the maps (even though too small)
It looks like a few of those maps are gonna be a ruff time for Gerry.
The Data link doesnt work for me. |

So does this open up the possibility of adding more strategic maps to the game without using plugins?
|
Damn good question!
How would units move from one map to another? |
