Installed using config manager.
Got an error at the end of the install. Didn't install.

However when i launch the game RSR is installed and seems to play all right (btw it's awesome), problem is i can't switch back to CC5 reg

any idea ? ( at this stage i'm tired of installing - reinstalling because of "exception" plugins ! would love a do thisand that type of solution Rolling Eyes )

Yes, there have been many people who have had this problem. Any ideas?

The error that causes the situation you've described is that in the INSTALL.TXT file, in the VERY LAST line (where it is trying to move the "NATO Superiority" campaign into place), there regretfully is a [space], where only <tab> is allowed as a delimiter for the Cfgv13 program. This error is invisible unless you open the file with Word using Tools/options/view set to show formatting marks. After you correct this small error, the install works fine.

This is an incredible mod! Very Happy

Follow up: I just checked - the version of the .pln file available from this website still has that error.

I'll check it out. The file here is the exact file from the creator's site.

I'm certain that it is possible to write a custom install.txt to avoid a full re-install, but that sounds like an awful lot of work. That's why before performing the first install of a new plug-in, I >ALWAYS< make a backup of my CC5 file structures, plus an additional copy of just the maps folder. Call me paranoid, but disk space is pretty cheap these days & it's really cut down on my turmoil! Smile

Dougal is very right at the error with the space which he noticed and mentioned about in his previous post in this thread.
I deleted the space character, saved the corrected install.txt file and then config manager installed RSR without a problem.

Thx...
