you are not logical or articulate enough to debate with reasonably, but in defense of CSO_Linebacker, you are not arguing with what he actually said but your...er...interpretation of what he said

and... when he said "There in lies the rub. Today's generation is definitely made up of 'What's in it for me type of people...we all know that. " he was very eloquently saying what many of us realize

so carry on with your pissin and moanin, I'm going to go and play WaR H2H with a bud and enjoy the hell out of it... way more fun and worthwhile than arguing with a bonehead

dude...any chance you'll volunteer for the next build?.....say 100 hours?

Hm, I am, and most with me, are strong believers in compensation ($) for work (Im not a slave), Though I can work for free for a non profit good cause (free mods and such).
Matrix/S3T are any of there staff getting paid and are they non profit charitys?

There in lies the rub. Today's generation is definitely made up of 'What's in it for me type of people...we all know that. The community wants all of these things, big changes, a new updated engine, etc...like we all do I think...but only a few are willing to actually do anything that could possibly lead to that outcome.

He was talking to me... and what I said in this regard.

I'm sure somebody will pay you what you are worth, are there Walmarts in Sweden?

look an important point that Linebacker made was that there are some folks who are contributing (and volunteering their time in ways you apparently can't understand) in the hope of moving towards CC6, with a new engine, etc, etc

that is a very worthwhile "expenditure" of their time, at least in their view, can't you wrap your head around that?

I dont understand how matrix didnt think about that and didnt
created any WAr dedicated space to play. Is it so expensif to call Game spy about WAR room?

The big problem is directplay, CCWAR does not use directplay and you can not launch a CCWAR from one gamespy room.

By it CC5 is better on multiplayer than CCWAR, yes CC5 crash sometimes but you can launch complete multiplayer games from it. If CCWAR makers want launch one patch, they should add this on it. Or I´m right thinking that CCWAR is more stable on multiplayer because it does not use directplay, can be it correct?

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
