Yes i can open with Excell and look at things...
In CC 5 i could open all the adbs with QClone, i could change the forcepool with BG Edit (how in hell can i change the forcepool in WaR without spending months on it?), i could change the sprite on soldiers with SLDcolour, i could with a little work make a new stratmap and Stratedit made the work
Thankyou god, i can still use XTank, CC3 hack and Gadgetmunger!
Maybe some people will get mad on me but i dont agree that WaR is easy to mod, yet...

Easy and take time are two different things, all we know that mods take time but on WAR are not difficul. But the fpool from war can be edited on few days with workbook and it runs better than one qclone, you only need know some small tips from excell like inmovilize panels, it help you many when you edit the fpool.
About soldier colors, if you like the CC5 soldier color, you can use it and next export the soldier colors to WAR with RTBtool. It is one example.
All the other things with the exception from strategy map are edited like on CC5. The strategy map can be a bit crazy the first time that you edited it and it takes time but I´m sure that you can change it on one week driking some beers or on two days if you drink many coffee.
We should be happy because WAR use only a few data files, other games use 600 different files only for data and many more for other different things.
On few words, mod WAR is not difficult, it is a chinese work.

We could discuss this further when someone has made a complete new WaR mod with a reworked 64 stratmap.....
You cant say it is easy to change the forcepool in WaR with notepad compared to the BGEdit program!!! It doesent help drinking beer to solve this problem....

This IS a mess,,, and quite simply Shreck is talking down to modders telling them to use excel. Thats poor customer service, but typicaql of being talked down to... CCer accept old rehases instead of new products, were dumb, so lets get slapped upside the head again, well come back for more.
If WAR is so moddable like the Matrix party line says.. well why is there not many mods out there?

Ok see you've moved the date but the worrying thing is a couple of those teams don't seem to exist on my installation... where did they come from?

Are you saying that i am playing the pirate version of the game! That was real low!! Thank you wery much for the great feedback on the forcepool bugs in standard WaR
If you are worrying about team name is because i used excel to change the names on teams to more realistic ones, but it is still your forcepool!
This is my last post in this thread

just trying to understand why it's different/wrong.
You didn't say you had edited it already, you just said it was a stock forcepool, which it obviously wasn't.

I'll look at why the teams aren't shifting up to fill the empty slots.
Did they shift up in CC5 if due to the attrifying forcepool the upper slots are empty?

How did the beta testing worked?
You sad: Do you like it?
Tester sad: No it is problems with the forcepool.
You sad; Do you like it?
Tester sad; There are units missing in forcepool on day 20.
You sad; Do you like it?
Tester sad; There are still units missing in the forcepool.
You sad; You must have changed it because the game is perfect.
Tester sad; I like it!

The units aren't missing.
Look in the FPool.txt
They are depleted/atrophied/empty by those late dates in the campaign so are not available and are not meant to be.

Yes Mats well illustrated, and there are even more errors in the WaR file. Crach...
Considder then all the time consumed to make that file and not to get it better than that... In a comercial game sold for money... .........................
I think we can dropp this debate. Its a serious waste of time.
Over and out.

Sorry but you are too radical on it, more than me many times . Mods take time, many free time and I know about more mods on proccess than probably you do not know nothing about them.

It is not me, it is Nomadas forcepool! (he who says it is so easy Razz and has used BGEdit only once..). I will not spend any time changing any forcepools..

No it is not my mod. If you take a look on these screenshots from the mod. The same BG on the same day.
I would like to know what mod or game have you used for this. If you do not see the teams it is by one war game error.
