Just to let you know that a lot of new maps for this mod are in progress: Pitomnik, Gumrak, Traktorny Zavod, Red Oktiabr, Golubinskaïa, Serafimovitch, Raspopinskaïa....
Pics of these maps can be available if someone from the server wants to upload them...
Due to the fact that a lot of CC players have asked for a large number of new maps for this mod, don't expect this one to be ready until second part of 2005.
However, Aisne Contre-attaque will be released very soon now.
Aisne Contre-attaque is the second mod I am working on. It is the sequel of the famous Meuse mod, but indeed much more with 3 different (Historical, what-if and fictional) campaigns, each with different/added battlegroups and weapons. The action happens early jult 1940 and simulates the desperate resistance of the french army in the north-east of paris.
You can get some pics and details about the mod on the Home Page of Closecombatseries.
Had a look again at the camera. Great looking maps. Question, will the units be in wintercamouflage? If possible, can you ad a screenshot with units on the camera?
It is a little too early to send you pics with the soldiers on the maps, just because they are simply not coded yet!!!
I hope to begin to code my first maps in a few weeks time.
To answer to your question: yes, SOME units will be with winter camo (not all, as by november 42, all german (and soviets as well) units were not yet equipped.
Anyway, many thanks for your support. I am really alone to do all this work, I have very bad moments, and any support like this one helps me to go further and not give up.
What Bambam says is true pzjager, I'm sure that there are many people out here who like myself are looking forward to your Aisne mod.
The Meuse is I think a very interesting game and if your mod is anything like that its sure to be great. I really like those French heavy tanks, the Chars, imagine if they had been used to their full potental in conjunction with the premier divisions that were stuck on the Maginot line, under the younger more aggressive commanders.
So keep going mate you have a lot of us Computer dummies behind you

ill code a map for u if u like.
Forget words, actions will show your true ambitions! The Battlefield,In many cases, the terrain of a battlefield can be the best resource a commander has. A clump of trees, an abandoned house, or a drainage ditch can all be powerful tools in the right hands
First of all, many thanks to all of you. Just a few words like that make the mod go faster!
I never coded any map in my life... so I of course accept your proposition! Just keep in mind that the terrain and Elements files of the mod will be CC3.
I don't think it is a problem as, for instance, Winterwar was also coded as CC3.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
