Does this do multiple takes; or do you have to pause, change programs and paste after each one?

Multiple.  You have to start it prior to starting CC and designate a folder to save the screenshot into.  You might also have to configure the key used to take a screenshot the very first time you use it, but that is simple and holds that configuration from then on.  After that, each time you press the key, a full screen is taken and named sequentially with the prefix you specified.

Edited to elaborate:  UOSU is an old standard that has been around for 10 or more years.  There might be better screenshot utilities out there, but this one is tried and true ....  and free.

So basically it makes Windows behave like Linux as far as screenshots are concerned.

I don't get the Linux reference???

UOSU is a pretty simple and basic program.

Unzip it to it's own folder.

run the exe (uosu.exe)

minimize the program when it starts.

Then when ever you want a screen shot press your Prt Scr key and a jpg will be saved to your hard disk for you to edit when ever you want , now later, never.

You can hit the Prt Scr key once or a thousand times, a new jpg will be saved with a unique name... that's why I've got about 10,000 jpg's on my hard disk.

This works when any other program is running including all versions of CC.

If you really really are serious about screenshots you can use SnagIt.

Snagit will take a picture at automatic intervals. It can upload them to the web while you are playing. Add captions or text and theres many other ways to pretty them up. Snagit can also be used just like UOSU.

Linux (or at least Ubuntu) does this:

Try AutoScreenShot.
Pole recommended it and it was really good.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
