hey salhexe

why don't you use Berndt's mod installer to make your mods... that would make use of the mods much easier.

Thanks for your hard work, Salhexe!
Can't wait to give it a try!
I experimented with my own version of a crude German Vetmod (basically just increasing the Allied Teams to 10 men squads)...but the 10 men teams regularly causes errors/crashes at the debrief screens :(

How about a vetmod for CCWAR?

I know the existence of this file, I have not tried, but given the simplicity of vetmods, generally all files to be replaced are in data / base I think they no need.

Hi Squadleader

I have crossed half the GC and I did not crash, the fact of increasing of the team he has never given problem is perhaps due to another change presume.

I think there are big problems with los in tld, since you can almost always see the troops over the hedges of the Bocage.

WAR perhaps you're referring to the original version, since the vetmod I did for the version of Nomada Firefox. Probably in future I'll see.

Cheers

If you use CC:tLD Automated mod Installer then players can keep a stock install of the game for H2H or to return to v's the AI.

This also avoids corrupt installs by leaving the original files intact.

I've noticed that you made the Allied Teams 9 men...not 10 men (CMIIW).
10 men teams keep crashing...not always but often...CC5 handled 10 men teams without probs.
You're right about LOS over hedgerows...also on the new maps...hedgerows are coded differently to the old/stock maps (incl. GJS and BO maps).  On the new maps hedgerows are not on raised ground...and they also have bocage element in the middle. More LOS problems.

Yep...you haven't released a German Vetmod for the stock CCWAR.
I hope you put this on your to do list Smile
Thanks again for your work on the Vetmod series!

BTW, beside adjusting the teams files...do you also customize the weapons files like TT's Vetmod?

We are the pilgrims, master. We shall go
always a little further, it may be
beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow,

Here the correct autoinstall file, sorry for error.

For ErwinSp:

time and morale are hidden for more realism, in manual installation you can choose at your discretion
