Hi guys
As I wrote in the previous topic, I think it is time to mod TLD or WaR. For me its a real fun creating or modifying forcpools, vehicles, playing with excel and notepad. I like it. But im a completly dumb at graphics etc. Also, some assistance, new ideas etc would be appriciated.
So - I know there are modders. Some of you are playing GJS, SAS and other CCV mods. Why dont we make something to TLD - except complaining how .txt files sucks:)

I did make some changes in WaR forcepools and weapons so (in my opinion) game started to be way more ballanced and more playable. I think it would be nice to have a new mod for TLD.

So, if anyone is interested in doing something - pelase send me an email. If some of you complains on anything about the regulat TLD - please write in this topic.

Il start:
-I need a new campaign, larger strat map, simply not the first days of Normandy. I simply want a GJS or SAS mod in TLD

Guys, i dont want here a 10th thread why txt sucks or rocks. I DO PREFER TLD/WAR to CCV becouse of some features. CCV is better ONLY becouse of mods and GS. But mods can be made again.
I can also ask you why do you "waste" your time playing CC instead of going out with your girlfriends;)
Answer: becouse WE DO LIKE IT. And i like messing with txt files - enough? I hope so.
So no more post regarding txt or WAR/TLD vs CC please. If you want to mess with me, face me in GC in SAS or GJS mod;)

And YES, developer, shame on you, you dont support any modding tools. Thats true

you should try to contact the makers of GJS; i've seen a call on cso forum (now offline) about converting gjs into WAR and perhaps TLD enviroment

Tools that have been developed, upgraded or always worked with CC: tld/WaR

Workbook
FPool Calculator
Bed9
Gadgetmunger
paintshop pro/photoshop etc
3C
5CC
CC2 spriter
CC2 Tools
RTB Tool
CC2 sound editor/ Goldwave
STM
Accolades
triarius'exel tool
notepad (campaign.txt)

if any of the old tools no longer work because of the new features added and bug fixes in the new releases contact the developers of those tools and ask them to support the new releases... if they don't want to then that is up to them.

Edit removed stratedit5 memory isn't what it once was

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
