Hi there.
I'm now making a mod from CC5 to warhammer 40k (Eldar Vs Imp.guard+Space marines); it is near to be finishedapart the maps, but i need some informations.
For example:
How can i do to give intelligence to crews and make them obey to my orders?
And more, if someone can help me: in Kerelia mod is-if i remember well- was an observer that can call an air-strike. The nice thing is that there you see the aircraft crossing the sky.
Someon knows how to do it?
Hey zcharles, I don't have any answers for you But I really like your mod idea and I hope you keep us updated and release it here when you are done with it!!!
Well can't help you with the crews, nor do I understand what warhammer is, but I can help on the planes. I assume that it is not one of the planes that is called in. Now before I go any farther This works for CC2, and 3, and I assume 4, and 5 also. Those planes are inserted in the Explode file. Here are Instruction's made for:
Both use the same method. CC2 mods that have that are Afrika and 1945. As for CC3 real red has a submod that adds a plane, not sure what other mods have it. Still not sure what Sapa was using might whant to ask him.
On alsteams.adb and geteams.adb you can see the columns of the units, look for the column where you can read "sai unit" and change on guns and vehicles the number by one 3, with it crews can fight when they abandon the vehible or gun.
About airplane with observers........good it is some difficult or easy if you do not want to do nothing strange. The best is copy and change it from CC4 VetBoB, you must only change two lines on weapons.adb, add the team on alsteams.adb or geteams.adb and edit the effects.azp file (If I do not remeber bad). If you see the CC4VetBoB slow and with your eyes very open I think that you will understand the effect.
But I must say that it is not very good because you only can add it on one side and the airplanes will go very very fast.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
