I do not own a copy of either LSA or Mordern Tactics. I've heard through the grapevine that there are new vehicle pathing patches that were released for those two games.... perhaps even TLD, which I don't currently own either. I was wondering what exactly was modified, as I have also heard that there were AI improvements as well. Furthermore, I was wondering if these improvements could be ported to CC-COI, or if they are even neccessary.
- I've learned how to beef up the AI a bit, mostly experimenting with Reality levels and difficulty. This really makes a difference in certain mods, such as the PACMOD, when playing as Japanese against fanatical American landing forces. I can do the same, as was suggested for PACMOD CC2, with the Japanese forces, although this usually results in Japanese forces leaving the relative safety of the jungle to slug it out on the pockmarked beach.
Perhaps if there is a new AI mod implemented, I wouldn't have the same result. (Mainly my concern is the inablitly of the defender to remain with the static defence line versus charging out into the open.) If they could have the same agressiveness without the total disregard for cover and safety I'd be set.
Thats not to say that I don't enjoy the heck out of playing the PACMOD (thanks shreken for the port) or any other Mod that has come my way.
-I really think I just need someone to fix my wireless connection so I can go back on Game Ranger and duke it out with live opponents.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
