has anyone noticed that with the trend of having act on iniative turned off,the missing gone berserk soldier?

dunno what you're saying really, but no, i see berserks and heroes with initiative turned off. however, it only happens with reserve units. esp rifle reserves w/o coy hq near tend to go wild and roam the map in search of their own death. dont know really if i ever saw a berserk do anything but getting killed.
btw, berserk is a nordic word meaning approixmately "men who wear bear's skin." from norse mythology/history

berserk in english means
1. Destructively or frenetically violent: a berserk worker who started smashing all the windows.
2. Mentally or emotionally upset; deranged: berserk with grief.
3. Informal. Unrestrained, as with enthusiasm or appetite; wild: berserk over chocolates.

some 1 talking about berserks getting killed.....I Think berserkes perform better then ordinary frightened troops......1 of mine berserks killed 9 germans in 1 battle!

I had a sniper who thought he was mike tyson. Killed 5 men with fire and 10 men by hand, this while running madly from room to room. He scavenged grenades and took on a wolverine head on, sadly he didnt make it, but for awhile there i consided giving him a pay rise.
hmm, everytime my men get heroic or berserk they tend to leave the group and to die. and the only suckers to ever get these fits are the reserves. never saw an ordinary soldier do it. i remember some battle vs AJ where his rifle reserves got berserk and started to move 1 by 1 over the open road to assault building. none of them survived.
In cc4 i have a man berserked ones he ran and killed allot of jerries then suddenly he just laid down and didnt do nothing, and in his platon in steed of full there were a man missing.
later i fired mortars on him because i wanted him to move
(he did only get light wounded)
