i downloaded the patch to install cross of iron patches such as the grossdeutshland mod
problem is i always getting an error (also with other mods like finland mod and greece mod)

close combat warning
the close combat cd is required to plau this game (i play with disc)
insert the close combat cd and click OK or click cancel the program

then next error appears saying:
close combat was unable to open this file c:\program files\close combat\close combatIII\maps\chateau.mnm

i can always play about 2 operations of grand campaign, or when i want to read the briefing of every 2nd operation of the campaign (this seems to be with every mod) before this happens, perhaps i need to download a file for opening mnm files or is it normal that i can play only 1 or 2 operation

Have you downloaded the maps to the mods?

@sammaartens I know you posted this question a few months ago but if can be of any help I give you this answer: I had the same problem with some mods and I solved this by downloading the maps not from CoI section (where some maps seems missing) but from CC3 section where you have all the maps. Download even individual maps because some aren't included in main package. For me this worked, I hope will work for you too.
