I've tried switching off the "Battle Ends when morale gets low" when creating a scenario but it still does it in game while playing multiplayer with a friend.

Regardless whether the button is switched on or off it still happens.

Apologies if this has been brought up before, how do I switch the god damn thing off forever. Thanks!

Are you the host or the other person?

If the other person is host their settings will determine the battle settings....

Yep I am the host most of the time, but in either case the battle ends when morale gets too low.

If your playing a grand campaign i think morale on is a better option.

Hope this makes you feel better.

We are playing Close Combat Modern Tactics with the update (British Challengers etc.), not too sure there is a Grand Campaign on Modern Tactics.

The morale idea is ridiculous, if morale gets too low the map should be won by the force that didn't break, instead you lose a bit of ground.

Its not like people in war get together and say "oh the other side can't fight anymore lets stop"?????

Anyway question still remains, how can I get the Low morale off, I've tried everything, even tearing my hair out!

To be fair I think Modern Tactics is a bit of a failed game, everyone who's played it makes the same comment that it strikes them as an incomplete game.

Its possibly even worse than Close Combat 4 and 5 which is saying a lot.

Even so it has some very interesting concepts, such as multiple players on each side and mounting troops in/on vehicles.

A lot of potential for future CC games.

I will try the CC2/CCMT .exe if anyone else has the solution to this morale nonsense would be appreciated!

True there is a robust single battle player in CCMT with the potential for future designs. I find the AI in single player to be very poor however, so its really a multiplayer for single battles.

We've only played 1v1 so far but would like to incorporate more players on the field which I'm sure would be a fantastic experience in Close cobmat, in particular to create large regimental/small division sized battles with 5 teams of 15 units = 65 units on each side!

The multiplayer was very good except for the annoying low morale problem we continually face which is ever present regardless of settings.

There are some other annoyances as well like Victory locations not showing and tank route mapping which is reminiscent of CC2.

As far as a campaign game, we've yet to see a better campaign mode than CC2 provides, and for operational games CC3 is the king.

CC4 and 5 are just shocking in mine and 5 other friends of mine who play close combat opinions, the campaign mode is poor and the battles/req are really quite boring after a while.

I'm sure CCMT really comes into its forte when you have more than 2v2 players, and moded the possibilities are exciting i.e. Vietnam/WW2.

I would love to see a CC3/CCMT type combo incorporating the on-map battle benefits of CCMT and the off-map operational benefits of CC3, this would be an amazing game!
