There is a post somewhere, I'll look around, that says something about every
time you dl a mod you have to dl the video file too, just so the mod will play.
I think that when you dl your very first mod you need to 'make' that folder
if one does not exist... after that you dl each time into that folder you made
the first time Rolling Eyes . Hope this helps. Others will help too. Keep us posted.

You do NEED a video folder, but it doesn't actually have to contain anything.

Also you can open the options window upon launching it and disable videos.

To do this, hold down the ctrl key when clicking on your CCV shortcut to launch the game. This will take you first to the options window and you can disable videos.

But like Ronson stated above you do need to have the video folder created per the instructions provided.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
