When viewing screenshots of WaR it appears that some of the weapon icons, particulary the P38 and the M1911 .45, bears a great deal of similarity to the ones I made and published earlier this year and to confirm or disprove that my work have been used for comercial purposes I ask if any of you who have purchased the game would be so kind and send me a copy of the GameGadg.gdg and ScreenGadg.gdg ?
I don't expect that it is my work that has been used in WaR without my permission but I just want to be absolutely sure that it is not.

I can send you my psd file if you want. I am the person that drew them all from scratch. I'm trying to think of why the p38 and Colt 45 stand out. About the only thing that I did when re-drawing those was to make them larger and add some shading to give more of a 3d look

Don't worry about it. Glad you like them, and I'm just glad that I finally got to use them. I put these weapons together a few years ago for the Race to Bastogne mod that I never completed.

The WAR weapons icons look great, BTW!
My only complaint is the locked resolution smaller interface screen...I'm used to looking at those weapons icons close up in CC4-CC5 Sad
BTW, Neil...I've noticed that there's only M1A1 Carbine and no M1 Carbine in the game...but the icon/graphics used for M1A1 Carbine is actually an M1 Carbine.

I pointed that out to schreck the other day. I guess that after months of staring at things I must have just started glossing over. Either that, or the icon didn't get changed in the data file. Either way, will be fixed in the next update

Weapons icons do look sharp and well polished.

While discussing the interface graphics...don't forget to take a look at my post about US AB uniforms here:

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
