after installing the game off the cd it works fine, i then went to patch it and it says that it "cannot find video directory" and that i should reinstall it. which i have tried 5 times by now and am getting pretty desperate. i have install both the patch ang the game in there defult files

ive looked through all the posts and i have not seen any one with a similar problem. if this has already been gone through could i please just get a link to it.

Try to create a folder named Videos on your CCV main folder like u can see at Step 6 on this GJS mod install ( http://www.closecombatseries.net/CCS/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=3  ) and place in the videos files than u can found on your CCV Cd

Tout est possible ... il faut juste connaitre quand.

Hi Fatboy,

I had the problem also, and cleared the problem by just making an empty folder [ videos ] in the CloseCombatblabla directory.
After that CC5 works.
Typical,...I noticed that the folder keeps empty.

Succes, Matilde

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
