Welcome to the new war gentlemen.
The first battle of the new war will be faought by either myself or cipressina0. This is no slight on other team members, but is a precaution to make sure the strat moves and deploys turn out correctly.
Basically in the meeting engagements we are looking to grab up as much ground as we can. But don't over expose yourself.
Defense we will be looking at holding them as best we can, make maximum use of interlocking point defense type fire. never leave a unit defending an area on it's own.
Attack: don't get kicked off. Don't take too many tanks. If you take lots you will lose lots. In the begining take one or two. Don't get greedy, probe, find a weak spot and attack there, do not try and attack all points. Instead focus on one point, and watch for counter attacks.
Cheers,
Verboten

I have a feeling the Perriers attack will be tough. Your only goal there is to not get kicked off and not loose a bucket load of tanks. Slowly creep out of thebox if you can, don't go for an all out attack, you have an entire BG pointed at your one VL. Attack hard and you could find a very nasty counter attck coming your way. We will make our moves on the maps where we have meeting engagements. We have more room on those maps to manauvre, as opposed to slugging our way out.
"Don't loose tanks, watch your tanks, tank security blah blah."
You must be sick of it, but I can't emphasise it enough.
Due connection failure Stumpy and I coulndt finish the battle at St jorge
we both agree to restart the battle as no casualties taken.
Anyone battle this one.
we have big advantage in here just run up to the two 2 storeybuilding with mg and hold them at bay. you can take the vl to pont abbe easy but make sure to retreat right away and wait for jerry
K guys we are in deep shit with this one. probaly best two take two or three tanks here.
We have no cover and they have Los from everywhere.
try to concentrate the assult up north and South
and may be just put an AT on the small edge porbaly that will go but at least they are gone give away their position do that .
if you take mortar dont put them on the hill much better to fire them from the vally.
Remeber they cant place AT on the larrge edges
so the two tank in there shouldnt have problems.
We have a strong team so dont let the initiative to go in their end.

Afternoon Orders:
Airstrike to Amphreville.
325th to Le Verimsil in case we are routed from Raids
Leave the 331st where they are for now in case we have to pull out of St Jores. But it can still bemoved north if we break out.
Amphreville:
Secure the town and southern flank. They are hurting here so let's keep the pressure on. Take five tanks, take two 76's and twoe sherman II and spilt the 76's and sherman II's.We have no ATg's so use the last tank to cover the large open ground in the centre. The flanks are where the action will be. Remember tank security.
AMphreville is where we will be making our breakout, so don't lose any ground. set an objective of one VL if you have to. Once you have it settle down and wat, we need to advance, and it will be here.
Pont L' abbe:
Keep them in their box. DO NOT INITIATE CONTACT.
DO NOT INITIATE AN ASSULAT IN AND ATTEMPT TO KICK THEM OUT.
St Jores: Expand across the map. Our only way out of here is on the other side. Or better yet, try for the Raids VL so we can come in on a better deploy.
Raids: Expand slowly, probe and find where they are hiding. do not go all out.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
