Multiplayer: January 2nd, 2010 Hamachi meet with Close Combat Modern Tactics
Posted on Tue Dec 22, 2009 8:57 am by webmaster
Multiplayer Online

Do you have Close Combat Modern Tactics installed? If you do, then report to Hamachi on January 2nd for some multiplayer games. The network name is "Close Combat Modern Tactics" and the password is "ccs" (both are case sensitive). We hope to attract enough players for some 2vs2 or 5vs5 player games. If the games are successful, watch for the replays to be posted soon after.

Everyone is welcome to host their own games. MOOXE will be hosting a 3vs3 scenario at 2000hrs (GMT -0500hrs) on IP 5.69.45.152. The scenario will be a UK platoon cornered in a small hamlet. Three large enemy platoons are bearing down with heavy weapons, mechanized infantry and tanks. The calvary deploys to the west with heavy assault weapons, infantry fighting vehicles and M1A1 tanks. The goal for the Allies is to rescue the UK platoon, while the enemy must destroy the platoon and take over and hold the houses.

Deploy Zone

- No support for either team
- 10 minute setup time
- 30 minute battle
- Force morale off
- Locked battlegroups

Allied Platoon 1
Allied Platoon 2
Allied Platoon 3

This heavily mechanized platoon starts in the NW corner of the map. It has the longest distance to cover over the most difficult terrain.

A highly mobile platoon. It is suggested that you mount as much infantry as you can to get moving quickly.

The beleaguered British platoon. You have some heavy weapons, no vehicles but lots of AT missiles.

Regular infantry starting in the NE corner. They bring heavy machine guns and more AT missile sections. This platoon deploys in the mountain pass. They expect an armour breakthrough and have deployed many AT missile sections. 120mm mortars are also available. Your heavy tanks deploy on the ridge facing the Brits. If all goes well they should be able to pulverize the Brits and turn to face the Allied armour assault.

Make sure you open up ports 47624 and the range 2300-2400 for both TCP and UDP. For a multiplayer CCMT game to work properly you must not disconnect during the game or alt-tab out at any point. You can only leave the game once everyone is satisfied in the debrief screen and the replay has been saved. Ensure you have patch version 2007.12.12.1 installed.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
