Close Combat Player's News Close Combat 5: Invasion Normandy News Nomada_FireFox has released his new mod, La Batalla del Ebro. This mod covers a short time period in the Spanish Civil War. This is a full mod, with 44 new maps created by Nomada_Zikat. A new stratmap has been created as well as all new units. You will recognize many of the sounds from other mods such as Stalingrad. The mod is done in Spanish, although the game has not been completely translated. FireFox's goal is to eventually have it 100% in his native language. This mod comes as a surprise to most but has been under construction for quite some time. FireFox has indicated there will be future patches. For full information on this mod you can visit either website listed below.

Ebro ver 1.0 Plugin | Ebro Mappack | Ebro Screenshot Gallery | FireFox's Website | Nomada Clan

The Ardennes Offensive Vetbob has been upgraded from 1.03. Back in 2005 version 1.13 was released and eluded our site for quite some time. The new version's installation is much more streamlined and easier to do now. It also supports Ernie_M's enlarged CC4 maps. All three map packs and the new plugin are ready for download at the following link, AO Vetbob 1.13.

The Pzt Clan has started a new Op entitled Operation TreeHouse. The Op is being run and played new members of Pzt, they will be fighting as the Germans. Anyone who is available in GameSpy and who has GJS 4.4 installed can join in the fun as Allies. Full information is located in The Mess section of the forums.

pzjager has updated Stalingrad Der Kessel to version 1.2. The new version has around 20 fixes. Some of the fixes are graphical, road networks, sound and unit effectiveness. As well quite a number of maps have been updated and the vetmods have been modified. The SDK StratMap has been amended to reflect the road network changes. You can download them all in our SDK Download Section.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited and
found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some of the great Close Combat
mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank all the members of our volunteer staff that have
helped over the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
