Welcome to the newest Close Combat site on the Internet!
Our goal is to have the community use this site as their tool. Whether it be FTP
space, Forums, Team Speak, a website with your own IP or anything at all that
you can think of pertaining to Close Combat, we can help you. We have a huge amount
of resources we want to share with you.
Currently we are hosting a wide variety of CC mods. We have organized the mods
in a very particular fashion. If you are on high speed or dialup and don't mind
the wait you can download mods in 2 parts. The plugin (or manual install files)
and all the maps in 2 complete archives. Alternatively for dialup users or people
who need a specific map you can download the maps individually. All maps and game
related files are situated in one area so there's no confusion on what to download.
With each CC release we have added a tools, mods, patches, demo and misc. section
to cover all files. Eventually we want to be hosting all CC related software.
The idea for this server came up rather spontaneously. With the release of 4 new
CC games the community was bound to grow. We felt there was room for a large CC
server. The idea was so popular among those it was brought up to that funding
came in extremely quick from 5 of the communities gamers. Since then we have been
working hard to keep this site clean, crisp, non-cluttered, updated and as professional
looking as possible! The 5 of us want you to know that this site will be here
for as long as Close Combat is here. We are dedicated to the community and we
will become a mainstay.

In August of 2004, Zappi, Homba, Bambam887, RedScorpion and MOOXE all pitched
in to create this Close Combat site. I would to thank all the people who have visited
and found this site to thier liking. I hope you had time to check out some
of the great Close Combat mods and our forums. I'd also like to thank
all the members of our volunteer staff that have helped over
the years, and all our users that contributed to this site!
